DOBOT MAGICIAN with Vision kit
Dobot magician is an industrial robotic arm which is smart and has five different end effectors namely gripper, suction cup, pen, 3D printer and laser engraver. It is also compatible with Arduino and Raspberry pi where it can be programmed to do various tasks.
Using the Dobot studio, we can program, control using a mouse or a joystic and teach the dobot about the positions of the objects that need to be picked or placed.
The Objective of the project is pick the objects on the conveyer belt and place it under the vision kit . When the vision kit process the shape and color of the object, the dobot then places the objects in colour coded destination specifically.

To begin with, when we place an object on the conveyer belt, object detecting sensor 1 makes the belt move and the object detecting sensor 2 senses the object, it stops the conveyer belt.
The exact position of the stopped object is already programmed using the Dobot Studio and the dobot picks up the object and places under the vision kit. The vision kit then is programmed to process the information related to the shape, color, width, height and tells the specifications to the Dobot and then it picks up the object from the vision kit and it is programmed to place in color coded designated places for the object .
